Why we built this
Too many timeshare owners who want out end up paying a so-called exit company thousands of dollars for steps they could take themselves. Some of those companies have been sued by state attorneys general over large upfront fees, guaranteed-exit promises, and advice to stop paying. We built ExitHonest to put the honest, do-it-yourself version in your hands.
The problem
The information you need is scattered: your rescission window is buried in your contract and your state statute, deed-back programs are hard to find, and the loudest voices in the market are the ones charging the most. It is easy to feel stuck, and easy to get taken advantage of.
How ExitHonest works

Who we are, and are not
ExitHonest is an independent publisher of self-help information. We are not a law firm, exit company, or debt-settlement service. We do not contact your resort, developer, or anyone else on your behalf, and we never advise you to stop making payments you owe.
